Governor Umahi Appoints New Members of His Cabinet

The Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi, FNSE, FNATE, has approved the appointment of New members of his cabinet.
The Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Mr. Francis Nwaze made this known through a post he shared on his verified Facebook Page.
Announcing this to the public, Mr. Francis Nwaze said:


"His Excellency, the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. Dr. David Nweze Umahi, FNSE, FNATE, has approved the appointment of the underlisted persons:

1. Chief Emmanuel Obasi – Principal Secretary to the Governor.

2. Ogbuefi Enekwachi Akpa – Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Local Government and Rural Development.

3. Prince Sunday Ugwuocha – Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Environment.

4. Jennifer Adibe Nwafor – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor on Labour Matters.

5. Amauche Otunta Godwin – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor, Government House.

6. Mrs Patience Offor-Okorie – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor, Her Excellency’s Office.

7. Comrade Gideon Onwe – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor on Student Affairs.

8. Mr Simon Anyigor – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor on Education.

9. Engr. Felix Otta – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor on Ring Road Project.

10. Engr. Obinna Ibaki – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor on Airport Project.

11. Mr Onyeabor Ngene – Special Assistant (SA) to the Governor on Special Duties.

2. The new appointees will be inaugurated on Wednesday, 30th June, 2021 in the Executive Council Chamber, Old Government House, Abakaliki at 2.00pm.
