MARRIAGE DOES NOT NEED LOVE - Myles Munroe

Image
MARRIAGE DOES NOT NEED LOVE A successful marriage has little to do with love.  Love is not the qualification for marriage.  Love is a dangerous thing.  Love can make you think you can make it. Every divorce person was first in love with the person they divorce. So, don't tell me love keeps you together.  Love does not guarantee success in marriage. Love brings happiness but doesn't bring what it takes to make marriage work. The only thing that makes marriage work, is knowledge. You feel like you love someone, but you better get knowledge on how to live with them. And we are such a feeling culture that our insanity takes us to the alter, making commitments we know we can't keep. Marriage is not protected by love, Marriage is protected by knowledge.  Myles Munroe

WHAT DOES APGA STAND FOR? - Brotherliness or Deceit?

Image
WHAT DOES APGA STAND FOR? - Brotherliness or Deceit? Growing up, one was taught that HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY . But as the political terrain has taught us: Honesty is for the downtrodden, the poor, the apolitical class. The popular slogan of our great party: Onye aghana nwanne ya ! Or, Be your brother's keeper!  seems to be mere words, shared by the populace, never lived on by the leaders.  We are also taught that *the end in view, is the cause of the starting points. Not that the end justifies the means, as we Igbos say that *agu ada eli agu. What happened to our morals? Must a politician be a liar, a dishonest and dubious human being? We have seen men & women of integrity in politics, why loose the track now? The recent screening of all the governorship aspirants by APGA leaves much to be desired. Why drop the popular candidates and smear them with liabilities that make them non-commited? Why not create a level playing ground  and watch the people's ca...

Image
2023 Presidency: Southeast zone and Gburugburu’s option 23rd June 2021 By   Henry Omoreigbe   Ahead of 2023 presidency, one thing that is very clear is the unanimity of opinions by majority of Nigerians across the divide that in the interest of fairness and equity Southeast zone should be supported and encouraged to produce the next president of the country.  The rest of Nigerians have since realised that what is good for the goose is also good for the ganders.  This is considering the fact that out of the six geo-political zones in the country, it is only the Southeast and Northcentral that have not produced elected President since the return of democratic governance in 1999. This is why the clamour for Nigerian president of Southeast extraction has been consistently and repeatedly echoed and re-echoed in the media and public fora from the East, North to the West. Many believe that doing so will help quell the agitations in Southeast region and prom...
